Puma has appointed Torsten Hochstetter as global creative director, effective July 15. Before joining Puma, he was creative director at surfwear company O'Neill. Prior to that, he used to work for Adidas in Germany, USA and Japan, holding positions such as creative director sport performance and creative director sport style. |

 Adidas Group has avoided making more than 1 million physical samples since 2010, by developing 3D images of products during the sell-in process, the company reported on its blog. “All our core factories are trained and now capable of producing high-quality volumes of virtual samples,” wrote Renate Eder in a July 8 blog entry based on an interview with Jay Pollard, SVP adidas brand operations. |
