Inspired by Nature and Culture

HÖGL’s Collection for Spring/Summer 2006: With its latest trends, HÖGL ventures out to new shores of fashion. Nature in all its rich facettas is the central source of inspiration for the Högl novelties bringing not only the newly discovered naturalness, but also prime ethno style influences and a touch of exoticism.

Smart Urban Look
In the world of business of today, we encounter less of a strict or classical, but rather a suave and smart business look characterized by soft, bright colors such as subtle pastels and by shining materials.
The new pumps come in gentle shades of beige, rose, green and yellow and with a classy perlato effect.
Open shoes, slings, and sabots emphasize the smart urban look and gain in standing.
Slim lasts, fine curved heels, delicate looplets, and cutouts in shiny ribbons complete the elegant appearance.
The spring-and-summer-like interpretation of the round shapes spans the vast range from ballerinas to open-ankle pumps. Decorative and playful details such as flower decors, fine contrast pipings, and gatherings harmoniously round off the attractive design.

Global Travelers as Fashion Adventurers
ImageIn fashion, the true adventurers of tomorrow are those who, inspired by nature and the cultures of this planet, adeptly mix ethnic styles with folkloristic elements and create their very own individual style.
As global travelers, they travel around the globe, embarking on an expedition for fashion, leading them from America, to the Far East, and on to Africa.
Soft, flowing shapes and cuts, tranquil natural hues and pastels, spiced up with burnt shades from chili to curry, and refined with applications and jeweled accessories are what will enthrall women in the upcoming spring season.

For feminine town shoes, new materials such as anilkid in an elegant antique finish, natural colors or burnt shades of red, orange, and yellow, and heels with a leather-layer appearance will be used.
Leathers featuring an interesting grain, raw-edged straps, distinctive bands, contrast seams, and cutouts give the casual shoe types a special, ethno-inspired look. The bandwidth of natural colors further accentuates the fashion statement of the open-ankle town shoes, slings, sabots, and sandals.

The successful assortment of moccasins from the previous autumn/winter season coming with an agreeable heel height of 45 mm has its counterpart in the spring/summer collection and has been amplified with an additional range of 30 mm heeled models.

Structured Materials, Natural Colors, and Attractive Ethnic Decors
ImageMoccasin town shoes in materials such as sportcalf and velvet kid show their colors in vigorous red, blue, green and orange, as well as in trendy white.

Sportive ballerinas and sabots are made in a true moccasin design and come in the hues kiwi, curry, burnt red, and a vast range of natural colors.

Sneakers find their feminine interpretation through refined materials such as anilkid, printed leather with floral decors, elegant cuts, or delicate crystal appliqué.

In HÖGL’s collection, the reptile look is showcased in both elegant and sportive models: in the sportive segment unicolored in fashionable pastels such as rose, pistachio, sun, and natural, in the elegant segment predominantly in material combinations with velvet goat and glazed kid as well as classy gold buckles.

Newly discovered in the wake of the ethnic trend, also the plaited look will rise in popularity in next year’s fashion summer and experience a heyday in natural hues, burnt colors, and multicolored designs on slings, sabots, sandalettes, and mules.
