The Fair of Shoes, Leather and Leather Goods held in March surprised with the arrangement of stands, abundance of collections including footwear and accessories made of shiny lacquered leather in intensive colours – such products will dominate the upcoming spring and summer season. Winter was heralded by winter boots, short ankle-high boots, classic long boots and high winter boots...
...made of plain or creased leather and stylish combinations of leather and textiles. The collections were based on top quality fabrics and innovative design supported by modern technologies. Visitors could see them up close when meeting exhibitors at their stands and by participating in daily Fashion & Time shows organised in a completely new form and focused on advantages of presented collections even more that before. The form of shows was interesting and generated positive feedback from the trade fair participants as an excellent opportunity to see the latest trends. Over 9,000 visitors (more that in the autumn edition in the show) admired collections of 400 brands on three trade fair days. Traders, wholesalers, representatives of shops and boutiques could see collections of exhibitors from 17 countries, including Poland, Germany, India, Turkey, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, France, Italy, Pakistan, Indonesia, Ukraine and Hungary. The trade fair offers featured leisure and home footwear with anatomical shape for adults and children, classic shoes for ladies and men in a wide range of models and colours made of top quality genuine leather, collections of leather clothes and accessories, unique and refined handbags for the autumn-winter 2008/09 season and updates of collections for the coming spring and summer. Vivid colours and unique cuts dominated the collections. Axel Production components Some trade fair exposition was devoted to offers of tanning companies, such as a wide range of cowhide, goats leather, pigskin and sheepskin for the production of handbags, briefcases, suitcases, wallets and belts. Footwear and leathercraft components and accessories, machines and devices for the footwear and leather industries were also showcased at the Fair of Shoes, Leather and Leather Goods. Juma
The added value of the show, apart from meetings at the exhibitors stands, stemmed from daily professional training sessions, lectures and seminars on footwear fashion trends in the autumn-winter 2008/09 season, creation of partner cooperation with suppliers, development of sales through franchising, loyalty programmes for customers and using the EU funds to gain, train and motivate sales assistants and managers. Prestigious awards The Business Evening of the March fashion show was as exceptional as the show itself. The best products in the footwear and leather sector received numerous awards. As many as 21 products received the PIF Gold Medal at the March Fair of Shoes, Leather and Leather Goods. The following companies received awards in the "Golden Heel” competition organised by "Świat Butów” monthly: Badura SA (the Golden Heel in the Footwear category) and PPH Krisbut-Net (the Golden Heel in the Components category).
