Over 300 exibitors are expected at the next edition of LE CUIR A PARIS to be held from 23 to 26 September 2008 in the hall 4 of the Parc des Expositions de Paris Nord Villepinte. Among the new exhibitors, the Italian participation will be reinforced with 13 new comers as well as the come back, after a period of absence, of CONCERIA INCAS and ITALHIDE. Also to be noted, the first-time participations of JSC VILNIAUS KAILAI (Lithuania), SRI SINN FAH TANNERY (Thailand) and TANNERIES MEGISSERIES DU MAGHREB (Tunisia).

8 national pavilions are being organized for next September : the French Federation of Tanning, Assintecal and CICB (Brazil), Acexpiel (Spain), V.D.L (Germany), Agenzia di Promozione Economica della Toscana and Consorzio Italian Leather System (Italy) as well as the APIC (Portuguese Tanning Industry Association) that will enable to reinforce the Portuguese participation at LE CUIR A PARIS.

The components offer for the shoe sector will be enriched, amongst others, with the first participation of OMNIPEL (Italy) which will exhibit its “ Dry Best” product range for technical linings and textile for uppers having anti-odour, thermostatic and antibacterial characteristics. Further, GRUPPO GF (Italy) will complete the textile offer for home interior/deco and furnishing, bags and saddlery.

Following the success of their first participation last February, Exotics Valencia (Spain), Aromata (Italy), Nova Kaeru and Couroquimica (Brazil) are coming back next September. Like in each autumn/winter edition, the presence of fur will be very important with the participation, for instance, of Saga Furs (Denmark), Yves Salomon (France), Panfur (Finland), CEO Orylag (France), Hispano Piel (Spain), Officina delle Pelli (Italy) and Serpelsa Furs (Spain).

Top 5 Materials - Tannerie Haas (France)

For this forthcoming September edition, LE CUIR A PARIS is launching a brand new space called « HOME INSPIRATION ». A prospective and conceptual space that will offer a creative view of leather by building an inspirational bridge between the universes of fashion, home and interior deco. Through an artistic expression, suspended frames and sculpture-mannequins carry volumes to incarnate a given piece of furniture sublimated with leather. A trip to the interior universe of leather to be explored.

Last but not least, three international designers will be present in the Designers’ Village of LE CUIR A PARIS : JACQUELINE HEADLAM (England) for leather goods, MADO LUZAYADIO (France/England) for shoes and YU FENG ZHAO (China) for women’s clothing and fashion accessories.
