The winners of the traditional competition voting for the best exhibits of the KABO fairs are the exhibitors Santini, NARA and V+J obuv. A special prize was awarded to exhibits by D.L.M. Leather Products Wholesale, Konsorcium T+M, and Svatoslav Žalůdek – LAGEN.
The TOP MODEL competition held at the KABO fairs is regularly organised by the Czech Footwear and Leather Association, Trade Fairs Brno, and TextilŽurnál magazine. The expert jury presents awards in three categories. The main design prize – the Top Design Award – was given to the Paolo Santini Corporation for their summer ladies’ shoes. The jury was pleased with the trendy orange colour and attractive styling enhanced by a contrasting line in the sole and the heelpiece. The second competition category focused on the quality of the finish and the main Top Quality Award went to the NARA Corporation for their Högl brand walking shoes. The high quality of this leisure-styled model lies in the finest materials and well-balanced colours and the styling of the top. The third main prize – Top Innovation Award was won by the V+J Footwear Corporation for their unisex Clogs. This model applies the MBT technology (Massai Barefoot Technology) giving the crocs-resembling clogs an edge and upgrading those to medical shoes with a stimulating effect. Moreover, the wearer’s comfort is enhanced by the anatomic insole made of frothed latex. The jury also presented two special design awards. The exhibitor Ing. Luděk Dušek - D.L.M. Leather Products Wholesale received the award for a ladies’ set of a handbag and purse under the Gianni Conti brand. Konsorcium T+M Corporation received the special award for their design of children’s sports leather shoes in decent colour scheme. Special prize of the expert jury went to Svatoslav Žalůdek – LAGEN for a set of ladies’ handbag and purses. All the successful exhibits are on display at the P Hall. (6.9.2010, Jana Fuhrmannová) |
