Cafe Moskau fully booked again with international brands now also featuring: Trine Kryger Simonsen, oblique, Peter O. Mahler. It is for the third time already that THE GALLERY BERLIN will be presenting trend-oriented collections with individualist aspirations from 15 to 17 January 2013. After two successful editions this fashion platform has become an established destination for contemporary fashion, design and accessories on the Berlin fashion scene.
And CAFE MOSKAU will remain the location on Karl-Marx-Allee in the centre of the city. With some 90 collections this historic location is also fully booked again, even at this early stage. In terms of dates THE GALLERY BERLIN follows the leading trade fairs, running on an optimised sequence of days during Fashion Week. The trade fair is open from 10.00 am to 7.00 pm on Tuesday and Wednesday and from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm on Thursday. Compared to the premiere in January 2012 more international buyers came to the second edition in July. The event closed with increased visitor attendance and retailers placed many orders despite the early dates. The most important visitor countries in Europe included Switzerland, Austria, the Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Belgium, France, Italy and the USA, Japan and Australia from the rest of the world. For the next season the organiser expects a further increase in international attendance. “This time CAFE MOSKAU will once again be packed to the brim with exciting brands. Our satisfied exhibitors started securing exhibition space for January 2012 early on so that we were booked up very quickly,” says Elke Sautter, Project Manager of THE GALLERY BERLIN. On display will be individual, retail-relevant collections from international labels such as SARAH PACINI from Belgium, innovative Danish brands like BITTE KAI RAND, NÖR DENMARK and new exhibitors TRINE KRYGER SIMONSEN plus fashion from young creatives including IGOR DOBRANIC and LINK from Croatia. Featuring for the first time are OBLIQUE from Italy, MIA MAI from Germany as well as the Berlin designer PETER O. MAHLER, to name but a few. The profile of the trade fair ranges from innovative contemporary fashion and well-established designers – for instance, from the avantgarde segment to a wide selection of accessories. Exhibitors come from Denmark, Germany, France, Ireland, Italy, Croatia, the Netherlands, Austria and Switzerland. (11/11/2012) |
