 As before, the Igedo Company is running THE DÜSSELDORF GALLERY as a hub of communication for the ordering business in Düsseldorf in February 2013. THE DÜSSELDORF GALLERY is still Düsseldorf’s central platform for contemporary fashion, design and accessories. This position is steadily being expanded. Visitors will benefit from the short routes between the ›Botschaft‹ (Embassy) on Ceclilienallee and the showrooms in Kaiserswerther Strasse.

– JOANNA HAWROT – ONE OF MANY NEW EXHIBITORS “The launch in July this year showed that buyers value this proximity,” says project manager Elke Sautter. “Situated in the centre of Düsseldorf, we have established ourselves at the ›Botschaft‹ within walking distance of other showrooms, while a shuttle service is available with quick connections to the important ordering facilities throughout the city centre.”
The last DUSSELDORF GALLERY attracted a large number of visitors wanting to view the product range and gain an overview. Interest was particularly high in the collections of accessory designers. The change to the new location meant that many exhibitors won back customers and gained new ones. As before, with over 200 collections, the location will be fully booked again. There are already waiting lists. Elke Sautter goes on to say: “Again, we are looking forward to presenting an exciting portfolio of collections to retailers where they can discover lots of new things. This is of course the essence of the Gallery system.” Moreover, there will be a number of new exhibitors at THE DUSSELDORF GALLERY this year, e.g. the Polish designer Joanna Hawrot. Her characteristic style is a combination of futurism and stylisation. She sees fashion very much as an art. A number of collections will be new at the ›Botschaft‹ (Embassy): C'IVETTE I DERHY I ELEMENTE CLEMENTE I GUXY I MASHIA ARRIVE I MYS I NASCHBAG I PETER O.MAHLER I SARAH PACINI I SULU I SUMMUM I SUSSKIND I WAX. ÜMIT ÜNAL from Turkey will also be presenting his collections. THE DÜSSELDORF GALLERY stands for an individual concept with an interesting mixture of collections for retailers, ranging from designers, through fashionable contemporary collections to collections of specially selected accessories. The next DÜSSELDORF GALLERY will be held at the ›Botschaft‹ (Embassy) in Cecilienalle, though this time on different days compared with previous years – from Friday 1 February until Monday 4 February 2013.
