GDS Select in Shanghai not to run in Spring 2013 |

(GDS, Düsseldorf) GDS Select will not, as originally planned, take part in CIFL – China International Footwear & Leathergoods Exhibition from 17 – 19 April 2013 in Shanghai. Due to altered framework conditions, the cooperation aspired to by GDS Select with the Shanghai Fashion Week and MICAM has not materialised against the backdrop of irreconcilable differences.
The interests of the respective parties could not be taken into consideration to a mutually beneficial extent. Therefore, with the best interests of the shoe industry as a whole in mind, Messe Düsseldorf is withdrawing from the intended participation. CIFL will be held in Shanghai as in previous years.
