The last appointment took place on May 17th in Montegranaro, in the ‘Marche’ district, with a round table discussion that included, amongst other speakers, Mr. Giovanni Laezza, the Managing Director of Riva del Garda Fierecongressi, and Carla Costa, Manager of the Fairs Unit of Riva del Garda Fierecongressi. This event offered the opportunity to reveal the potential of the Indian market and of Expo Riva Schuh India to the companies in this district. The promotional tour for Expo Riva Schuh India started on May 8th from New Delhi, in the presence of the Ambassador, Mr. Daniele Mancini and the new director of ICE, Mr. Amedeo Scarpa. The first Italian appointment in this promotional programme took place on May 15th in Trento, at the press conference for the Italian launch of the third edition of the Indian Exhibition. “Expo Riva Schuh India 2013 will get to cover 9,500 square metres of exhibition space: a notable growth, compared to the 5,500 square metres of the first edition in 2011”, stated Giovanni Laezza, Managing Director of Riva del Garda Fierecongressi. “A fact which confirms the growing interest towards the Indian market on the part of the companies in this sector. India is the world’s number two producer of shoes and number three consumer.
