GDS Extends its Range of Accessories |
On 30 July that time will have finally come around: GDS will kick off its new concept making it „global destination for shoes & accessories“. From 30 July to 1 August GDS will showcase all key trends in the international shoe and accessory range in its free new worlds HIGHSTREES, POP UP and STUDIO. With its new positioning GDS now further extends its accessories expertise. In future,...
...the accessories worlds will be integrated into the events of the HIGHSTREET segment as a key lifestyle section. The accessories range with a focus on bags, small leather goods, scarves and shawls will be extended to include hosiery, jewellery and headgear. Accessories not only complete the outfit but also make clear fashion statement and give each style its individual note. The luxury brands of this world have set the example here: accessories enable brands to strengthen their image. Fashion houses are increasingly integrating shoe and accessory departments into their range as the fashion landscape is now unthinkable without them. Shoe retailers also want to provide their customers with additional inspirations and increasingly look to accessories in their product portfolio. GDS is picking up on this trend in the sector and is therefore now offering accessories an even greater presence at the fair. Accessories world in the HIGHSTREET segment is a new realm of experience where trade visitors can gather information on current accessories trends and gain new impulses. The independent accessories segment is located at the heart of trade fair in Hall 5. “There were always accessories on GDS. With the new concept we wish to offer stronger development possibilities for this segment because it is also very important for shoe retail,” explains Kirstin Deutelmoser, Director of GDS and tag it! by gds.
