This 27th edition will be the first since CUIR À PARIS was bought by Première Vision in March 2014. More than 8200m² of floor space in Hall 3 of Paris-Nord Villepinte will be occupied by leather producers; this is the same surface area as September 13 but with a more refined selection of 430 exhibitors. European tanneries make up almost all the exhibitors at the show: 54% from Italy,...
... 17% from France, 9.5% from Spain and 6% from Turkey with a total of 94% of exhibitors coming from across Europe. Once again all the exhibition space at the show has sold out; this season more than ever, the show is showcasing the quality and positioning of its exhibitors and their products, to best serve the premium and luxury labels from the garment, leather goods and footwear sectors that make up its visitorship. A breath of fresh air for the fashion world In recent years, CUIR À PARIS has worked hard to renew and enrich the fashion information it provides, in terms of both format and content.
“All year round, useful information for preparing collections can be found on our website, our social network sites and our mobile application, as well as the latest news from the industry, articles about latest trends and features on materials. This provides visitors and exhibitors with information "just in time" for when they need it, according to their sector of activity and their products," explains Marc Brunel, the Show Manager. Creation: Material challenges For this edition, the region of Tuscany and its tanneries, renowned for their expertise and knowledge of vegetable-tanned leather, challenged the latest generation of designers from the greatest international fashion schools to create a collection!
Another platform dedicated to research and expertise is BESPOKE and for this edition it invites visitors to explore the inner workings of creation, with a selection of 10 companies who use leather with flair on behalf of some of the biggest names in fashion. (23/07/2014) |
