MOMAD Metrópolis, the International Fashion and Accessories Trade Show, which is organised by IFEMA, will be holding its next edition from 5 to 7 February at Feria de Madrid.
For the first time, Fashion and Accessories will be showcased exclusively on different dates than the Shoe Sector. Momad Metrópolis is thus entering a new stage in which it will set up a solid and comprehensive Fashion offering for each of its events, made up of a mix of firms with a long tradition in the industry and newcomers who see this show as the ideal platform to introduce themselves to the retail universe. Likewise, in this new period the show will further the expansion and development of its different sectors with the goal of bolstering its value as a major meeting space in the Fashion industry in the Iberian Peninsula and a shining example.
Specifically, with a view to its upcoming edition in February 2016, MOMAD Metrópolis expects over 800 exhibitors and brands as well as the attendance of a significant number of Spanish and international buyers from over 70 countries. Among the participants, the show will be attended by the hottest newcomers from the fashion and accessories sector, and others who have been on hiatus will make a return, once again placing their trust in this event as their strategic tool to sell and disseminate their collections. The exhibition will take place in Halls 2, 12 and 14 at Feria de Madrid. MOMAD Metrópolis will thus be the biggest sales event for clothing brands in the Iberian Peninsula and one of the most important in southern Europe.
Since last October MOMAD Metrópolis has been doing a round of presentations of its new dedicated Fashion and Accessories show concept in different parts of Spain and the period for hiring spaces for the next edition has already started. Further information: http://www.momadmetropolis.ifema.es/.
The dates and place of the next edition of MOMAD Metrópolis will coincide with the Intergift, Bisutex and MadridJoya shows, also organised by IFEMA and linked with fashion and new trends. This coincidence will put the biggest fashion, accessories, jewellery and imitation jewellery and decoration stage in southern Europe within reach of professionals.
The last edition of MOMAD Metrópolis, held in September 2015 with a joint offering of Fashion, Shoes and Accessories, brought together 17,000 visitors in 21,000 square metres of exhibition space, 15,000 square metres of which was dedicated to the fashion industry.
MOMAD Shoes, in March MOMAD Shoes, the International Shoe and Accessories Show, has also begin renting out spaces for its next edition, which will be held between 4 and 6 March at Feria de Madrid. Through this new show IFEMA is once again giving the Shoe sector its own space within its exhibition calendar, independently from Fashion, with which it was linked until now. The goal of the show is to become the major meeting space in Spain for Spanish shoe and accessories firms and specialised shoe dealers from its very first edition. It is anticipated that this first edition of the event will feature over 400 brands and shoe and handbag manufacturers.
