at “Moda Made in Italy” in Munich on March 13 through 15 In the wake of the success of theMICAM, the world's most important footwear event, held at Fiera Milano (Rho) February 14 through 17, Assocalzaturifici continues its international promotion of the Italian footwear industry. The next event on the calendar is the 46th edition of “Moda Made in Italy”, Germany's most important event for Italian footwear, coming up on March 13 in Munich.
About 130 exhibitors - more than in previous editions - will represent 300 Italian and European brands and show off their best collections for fall/winter 2016/2017. The event, which will remain open until March 15, primarily targets footwear dealers in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Northern Europe, who have been demonstrating interest in Italian footwear for more than 20 years. Italy currently exports more than 32 million pairs of shoes to Germany every year. In the first ten months of 2015 Italy registered a 4.8% increase in exports to Germany by quantity, +0.9% in terms of value, over the same period in 2014. This confirms Germany's importance as the second biggest market for exports of Italian shoes, after France, which absorbs 16.6% of Italy's total exports by volume. “The 46th Moda Made in Italy will take place in Munich, in its traditional location at MOC Veranstaltungscenter," confirms Assocalzaturifici deputy chair Giovanna Ceolini. "The location has always been the perfect showcase for this unique, exclusive show. Participants will be offered a choice of a pre-set stand or showroom space, ranging in size from a 14 square metre stand to 35 squares metres of showroom space: a great flexibility which companies truly appreciate, because it offers them an opportunity to share a showroom with another exhibitor and establish synergies between different companies.” (31/3/2016) |
